Using Videoconference

Purpose

The purpose of this web pages is explaining howto use VideoConference under Windows 95/98, using Logitech cameras. Because we are talking about Windows, I take no responsabilities whatsoever. If anything goes wrong, let's ask uncle Bill Gates to pay for. At least, he has lotsa money.

Steps to follow

1. Check that the needed programs have been installed.
2. If necessary, install them
3. Make sure that they are properly configured.
4. Running those programs.

Whe need the following programs to run videoconference:

1. Logitech QuickCam camera software.

2. Microsoft Neetmeeting videoconferencing software

3. Microsoft Instant Messenger friends finder

Install the software.

If we have figured out that we need them, let's install them:

1. Logitech QuickCam software

2. Microsoft Neetmeeting videoconferencing software

3. Microsoft Instant Messenger friends detector

Make sure that they areproperly configured.

We have to check for the proper configuration of the following software:

Running those programs.

In order to properly run videoconference, we need to follow those steps:

1. Connect to internet

2. Start Instant Messenger

3. Look for Friends

4. Start Videoconferencing
